Meta
This past weekend we invited my in-laws for Sunday dinner. I have the best mother and father-in law in the world. I love them dearly and hadn’t seen them since my father-in-law’s 90th birthday at the end of June. When their expected time of arrival passed and we didn’t hear from them I started to worry. After they appeared to be more than a half hour late I was really concerned. When they finally showed up at the door over an hour and a half past when I expected them, I was so relieved. Turns out they were delayed by construction and traffic which I hadn’t expected on a Sunday. The afternoon went terrifically and we had a great time with them as usual.
